About the role As the Recycling Team Leaderfor Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will ensure that all aspects of the recycling are maintained in an orderly and efficient manner Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Managing the repair department.
Complete necessary training to carry out LOLER and PAT testing to the required equipment.
Managing the warranty / scrapping system Ordering spare parts and consumables and manage levels accordingly Waste management - management of all types of waste daily including liaising with waste suppliers.
Communicate with OTs and Medequip procurement about standard stock & recycled specials.
Manage special products, including 360 video requests in a timely manner.
Process recycled specials promptly and efficiently within recycling targets including any repairs.
To ensure procedures in place are followed by your team Achieve stock levels and values, Cleaning and Repair KPIs on a daily basis.
Keep all workspaces and environments clean and tidy.
Keep HR data for all staff up to date on all platforms.
Arrange duties to ensure all areas of the recycling department are adequately covered to deliver the service levels/targets agreed with contracts.

Qualifications and experience required.
Must have some experience in a team leader position Ideally some experience in a public, healthcare or service based industry Excellent communication, both verbally and written What we offer29 days holiday moving to a max of 33 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays)Continued professional development, training and learning support and opportunities for career progression.
