In this role, you'll provide expert town planning advice, help navigate complex statutory town planning processes and prepare town planning reports that meet statutory and Government policy requirements.You'll work closely with project teams and government partners to ensure town planning outcomes are achieved efficiently and meet both legal obligations and community expectations.
Your day to day will include assisting to develop and maintain robust working relationships with key stakeholders, contributing to statutory and strategic planning reforms, and the resolution of complex pre and post approval planning matters.

Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.About YouHealth Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated and capable senior town planner with advanced knowledge and experience in environmental assessment processes relating to the NSW planning system.Significant experience is sought in the application of Government plans, policies and guidelines for state significant projects and activities under Part 5 of the EP&A Act.The ideal candidate will have significant experience in statutory planning, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to advise senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
