About the Role As the Group Accountant, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of half-year and full-year financial reporting, including the preparation of the Annual Report.
You'll oversee all group accounting activities, ensuring high-quality analysis and resolution of key accounting issues.
The role also manages all tax obligations, including income and indirect taxes, and provides budgeting, planning, and analytical support across corporate functions such as Finance, People and Culture, and Quality and Compliance.
Additionally, you'll lead the organisation's banking relationships and manage treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this position include: Lead delivery of half-year and full-year financial reporting requirements, including preparation of the Annual Report.
Delivery of high-quality Group Accounting activities, analysis and interpretation of key accounting issues Manage all tax matters, including income and other taxes Provide budgeting, planning and analytical support for corporate functions, including the Finance, People and Culture, and Quality and Compliance functions.
Lead and manage banking relationships and treasury matters About You Highly efficient and excellent interpersonal skills Positive and enthusiastic attitude Excellent attention to detail Superior Excel skills, including building and maintaining complex models and scenario analysis Build and foster strong relationships with senior leaders and peers The ability to deliver on multiple projects and prioritise the workload in a rapidly changing environment, including the ability to work to tight deadlines Good knowledge of accounting and reporting standards and systems Foundation knowledge of taxation matters and tax effect accounting A solution-driven outlook and desire to continuously improve Ability to quickly pivot between priorities as the external environment changes Qualifications & Experience: CA / CPA qualified or equivalent Ideally commenced at a Big 4 / mid-tier practice before moving to a commercial environment At least 3 years of finance functional experience, preferably in an ASX environment Net Suite and Solution 7 system experience (preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of ASX and ASIC reporting and disclosure requirements.
Good working knowledge of corporate taxation matters, preparing tax returns and working with external tax advisors Why Join Us?
