About the role Located in Canning Vale WA and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Project Engineer will support the project delivery for the NBN N2 P including but not limited to reviewing design, managing build end to end, materials management, scheduling, procurement, resourcing, reporting and services as well as supervising a team of Site Engineers.
Key duties, but not limited to: Monitor key construction milestones to identify and mitigate program risk, ensuring accurate information is being captured in VPL work management systems Analyse subcontractor resourcing ensuring balancing and continuity of work Critical analysis and rectification of complex issues pertaining to design, construction, programme, completions, materials, and low-level commercial items Regularly liaise with internal and subcontractor resource to extract key data Work with logistics specialist to forecast material requirements and ensure risks associated with material availability are identified and mitigated Present the program of work at regular client meeting and discuss issues around project delivery Promptly respond to escalated issues and follow through to rectification or escalate as required About you Ideally you will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar position, preferably within the Telecommunications / Construction industry.
You will also possess the following skills: Comfortably operate in a time critical project environment Ability to interpret engineering and survey drawings (advantageous)Ability to interface with subcontractors and clients to ensure delivery compliance Good understanding of telecommunications pit and pipe and aerial optic fibre network infrastructure Strong knowledge of project financial management What We Offer You: Work with a leading telecommunications company at the forefront of network innovation.
