T (The Foundation for Independence, Recreation and Social Training) is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered NDIS service provider, responsible for the coordination of community access and training programs for adults with a disability.

T exists to support its members in leading fulfilling lives through skill development, social engagement and creative activities.
Founded more than four decades ago by its members' families, the organisation now operates across three locations and employs 65 staff and supports more than 100 clients in the Logan and Northern Gold Coast area.
Due to the long-serving incumbent's impending retirement, F.
I.
R.
S.
T is now looking for an experienced people leader with a genuine passion for disability services to join the organisation.
Reporting to the Management Committee, you will lead a multidisciplinary team (finance, service, coordinators and support workers) ensuring that quality, efficient and accountable services continue to be provided to members.
Key to success will be maintaining, and steadily increasing, current members numbers by contributing to the development of interesting, diverse, and creative programs.
You will champion an environment where members and their families feel valued, as well as maintaining and building F.

R.
S.
T's profile in the community.
As an experienced manager, you will have ownership of F.
I.
R.
S.
T's strategic and operational plans, its annual budget and the development of compliant policies and procedures.
As an approachable, down-to-earth leader, you will drive a welcoming, team-focused and supportive culture, in turn retaining valued, long-serving employees.
To be considered for this role, you will be a proven and effective leader with a track record in a service based or community organisation, ideally with significant knowledge or experience in the disability services sector.
You will have a depth of experience leading teams and managing the day-to-day accountability for strategic & operational plans, budgets, human resources, risk management and compliance.

T's profile in the community, and enhance relationships with a range of stakeholders will be important to your success, as will be the ability to identify opportunities that enhance the range of services to their members.
