Mechanical Fitters Production

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters at the Osborne Naval Shipyards.

Premium permanent waged role starting at $44.53 to $50.21 per hour.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Production Mechanical Fitter is responsible for executing activities related to the mechanical outfitting of naval vessels within the Osborne Naval Shipyard.

This includes installing mechanical components, power and propulsion systems, combat systems, machine shop/in situ machining, pressure testing, load out/lock out, and other tasks associated with delivering a naval vessel.

You will also be required to undertake upgrades and sustainment work on naval ships currently in service.

The role involves performing production activities within blocks (ship sections), ships, workshops, and potential offsite facilities.
