Biomedical Incubator Commercialisation The Company Our client is a national biotechnology incubator backed by one of Australia's leading venture capital firms.
They support the development of Australian biomedical research and innovations and manage funding to support early-stage drug development through to cutting edge medical devices and evidence-based digital health technologies.
Providing more than just funding, they work closely with project teams to guide them through the early development phase, offering both scientific and commercial expertise and networks to support projects in meeting key commercial milestones.
The Opportunity Working closely with the Program Head and Team, the Analyst will engage closely with start-ups, researchers and clinicians to accelerate the development of promising Australian biotech's and medical discoveries in becoming investment ready.
The Analyst will review applications, undertake due diligence activities, manage multiple projects at different stages of development to achieve clear project outcomes; and provide general operational support to the Program Head.
The Analyst will play an active role in the Incubator and will be supported by the team and the broader organisations team in program delivery.
The Requirements A Ph D qualification in life sciences (or an MD), or equivalent experience At least 2 years proven experience in life science commercialisation Demonstrated ability to multitask and coordinate complex projects through development to predetermined timelines and budgets Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where opportunities are self-created Proven ability to confidently present in front of key stakeholders and groups The Offer This is an exciting time to join one of Australia's leading innovative organisations.
