We work closely with Australian and international businesses, organisations and governments About The Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a lawyer (between 4-8 years' PQE) to work in our corporate and commercial team alongside Peter Limbers, one of Australia's leading lawyers in the energy sector.
In this role you will work primarily with Peter on transactional, project and advisory work across the energy sector, including renewable generation, energy storage (pumped hydro and battery), distributed energy resources and new technology solutions, energy network development and operations, as well as gas sector project, transactional and advisory work.
You will also be working on broader transactional work within our corporate and commercial team.
This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that does high quality work for our clients in both the private and public sectors.
About You Ideally you will have:4-8 years PQE in a corporate, commercial or projects team.
Experience in the energy sector would be advantageous but not essential for a candidate with genuine interest in the opportunity to work in the energy sector, while still having exposure to more general corporate and commercial work Have a client-focused approach with a keen interest in obtaining great outcomes for clients Have the ability to demonstrate exceptional drafting skills and an eye for detail Be an independent thinker, comfortable with learning new concepts quickly Participate in activities that build teamwork and relationships Why join Maddocks?Maddocks Is Simply a Great Place To Do Great Work.
