The successful applicant will be able to join the Octopus Australia team on their mission to accelerate Australia's transition to a future powered by renewable energy.
We are looking for an associate / senior associate level energy projects solicitor to support the business through a period of exciting growth.
The successful applicant will have energy projects and construction experience in the Australian market.

About Octopus Group Octopus Group is one of the largest owners of renewable energy projects in Europe and Australia.
It manages approximately 260 assets on behalf of wholesale and institutional investors.
In Australia, Octopus manages over $1 billion of assets for local and international investors.
Octopus Investments Australia Established in 2018, Octopus Australia is a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of over 55 skilled professionals, covering expertise required to realize and operate a renewable energy and storage portfolio.
With an existing multi-GW portfolio of operating and development assets, including solar, wind, and battery storage across the country, we continue to grow to create a long-term business capable of delivering a firmed energy product to meet Australia's evolving energy needs.
Job Description You will be responsible for providing legal advice across all aspects of the business.
This includes, with support from external counsel, advising on the full lifecycle of renewable projects—from development, construction, to asset management—to ensure the successful delivery of our renewable energy developments.
This role reports to our Director & General Counsel.
Qualifications You will be an associate / senior associate at a reputable law firm working on grid-scale renewable energy projects.
