About the role: As the senior-most legal resource in Australia, you will: Support strategic priorities with proactive, commercial legal advice Lead on Australian financial regulatory matters Advise on new financial products and business lines Draft, negotiate and manage commercial contracts and partnerships Support board governance and company secretarial responsibilities Collaborate closely with risk, compliance, product, operations and marketing teams About you: You are a senior in-house lawyer (approx.
10+ PQE) with: Deep experience in financial services, corporate and commercial law, together with company secretarial/governance Exposure to online trading, investment platforms, crypto or similar Direct experience interacting with the regulators Strong commercial judgment, able to confidently triage risk Warm, proactive and collaborative style — comfortable working autonomously but also building strong cross-team relationships Ideally, you will have current in-house experience within a fintech/startup growth environment Why this opportunity?
