Speech Pathologist - Paediatric Illawarra
We are seeking an experienced speech pathologist to join our Illawarra team at the Flinders office.
Opportunities are also available for both experienced and new graduate speech pathologists to join our teams in Illawarra, Shoalhaven, and Eurobodalla.

About Noah's Inclusion Services Founded in 1981, Noah's Inclusion Services has been a not-for-profit community-based organisation that is an industry leader in disability and early childhood education.
We provide therapy, education and support for over 2000 children with a disability or additional needs and their families each year across picturesque Shoalhaven, Illawarra, and Eurobodalla regions.
We employ an outstanding team of dedicated and passionate staff, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Teachers, Allied Health Assistants and Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Our multiple programs, including Aboriginal specific programs, are designed to meet the needs of our community.
Our services are funded through a range of sources, including Federal, State and Local Government Departments, NDIS, philanthropic funding and other organisations and peak bodies.

About you:
Our ideal candidate will have:

A positive attitude and the desire to be a part of a dynamic team.
The ability to provide an efficient and effective Speech Pathology service to children 0 – 18 years who live in the Shoalhaven, Illawarra or Eurobodalla regions.
Services may include 1:1 intervention, group intervention, consultation or home programming for acquired or developmental delays and disorders as the position requires.

A passion to provide children and families with evidence informed intervention programs in a flexible, fun, family centred approach.
A solution focused mindset to work creatively with your clients, your team and relevant others.
A commitment to evidence based practice principles and an understanding of best practice in early childhood intervention.

An ability to work in a transdisciplinary and/or multidisciplinary team, using family-centred and strength-based approaches.
Willingness to work in community settings, e.g.
early learning centres, schools, and client homes, as well as on-site at Noah's Inclusion Services locations.
Strong caseload management skills, with the ability to apply high-level reasoning and independent professional judgment.

Demonstrated understanding of children and families from CALD and Aboriginal communities within the perspective of health and wellbeing.
Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including IT.
Paediatric experience preferred.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a recognised degree in Speech Pathology, eg Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or Master of Speech and Language Pathology.
Membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Willingness to undertake professional self-regulation leading to Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status.

Current Drivers License.
