About the Role: As a Prompt & RAG Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing prompts for various applications, including text generation, translation, question answering, and creative writing.
You will collaborate with thought leaders and cross-functional teams to gather data, write prompts, and import information into RAG-based AI systems.
Your work will support our mission to leverage AI technologies effectively.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop prompts for diverse applications.
Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to understand user needs and translate them into effective prompts.
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to capture, cleanse, and process knowledge into formats suitable for RAG-based AI systems.
Populate and manage RAG-based AI systems, ensuring efficient data integration and retrieval.
Analyze and iterate on prompts based on performance metrics and user feedback to ensure high-quality outputs.
Conduct experiments and research to test new prompting techniques and optimize existing workflows.
Stay up to date on the latest advancements in natural language processing (NLP) and AI and apply those insights to your work.
Document and communicate your work clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Prepare, clean, and manage datasets, including feature engineering and tokenization, for LLM fine-tuning, ensuring efficient data retrieval.
Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics, testing methodologies, and frameworks like Lang Chain or Lang Graph or Oumi.
Essential Skills and Experience: University Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
A degree in AI is a plus.
Strong understanding of NLP concepts and techniques.
Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and other AI systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for language and storytelling.
Ability to think creatively and solve problems, adapting to new challenges and changing priorities.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate and optimize prompts.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
Familiarity with programming languages and scripting skills is a plus.
Expertise in data preparation, cleaning, feature engineering, and data retrieval techniques.
