Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AI developer to lead the design and implementation of intelligent document processing solutions. This is a contract role that requires hands-on expertise in building machine learning pipelines, applying large language models, and deploying solutions on cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and multi-stage orchestration. Experience with cloud-native AI services and programming languages such as Python or .NET is also essential.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, CloudOps, and security teams to ensure governance, auditability, and explainability across all AI-driven outcomes. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders to validate proofs of concept and deliver operational solutions.
- Design and implement machine learning pipelines to process complex financial documents
- Apply large language models to extract, classify, and structure data
- Ensure governance, auditability, and explainability across all AI-driven outcomes
- Deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
- Mentor and upskill offshore engineers
