What you'll deliver with us As our Senior AI/ML Engineeryou will enable the delivery of various AI projects which are our strategic imperative.
This is achieved by spearheading engineering and productionisation of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning models, algorithms and pipelines to solve complex business problems in close collaboration with the data science teams.
This role requires a deep understanding and experience of AI and ML, analytics engineering and MLOps principles.
Reporting directly into the Manager of AI/ML Engineering you will contribute from data pre-processing to model training, evaluation, deployment, integration and monitoring.
This includes applying best-practice AI/ML Dev Ops (aka MLOps) on our solutions while contributing to AI/ML engineering craft growth.
This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges, ensuring the robustness and reliability of AI/ML models in production and integrated into wider SOP.
You'll also Develop production-grade AI/ML solutions ensuring compliance with the Enterprise Data and AI reference architecture and according to the Enterprise Data Governance standards and Responsible AI standards.
Successfully maintain AI/ML assets and business solutions operating on Cloud and our AI/MLOps platform, ensuring model and solution efficacy and availability for the enterprise.
Continuously explore new AI/ML technologies and methodologies and support rapid business value discovery ( i.e.
piloting and prototyping) for AP to maintain a competitive edge.
This includes experimenting with cutting-edge techniques and integrating them into the business.
Productionise solutions that leverage AI/ML technologies to deliver business value through improved decision making, process simplification and optimisation, automation, and revenue generation.
Ensure that AI/ML models are accurate and reliable.
This involves rigorous testing, validation, and continuous monitoring to ensure models perform well under various conditions and do not produce erroneous results.
Drive the efficient and sustainable use of Cloud resources and technologies ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality, reliable, efficient and optimised solutions, considering the full lifecycle impact and cost of the technology.
About you We are seeking a someone who can support the development of pilot and Po C-grade assets depending on the business needs and agreed product grading.
It is vital to be able to navigate our complex organisation with multiple cross-functional partners and stakeholders to be maintained.
Strong practical experience in statistical data analytics and Machine learning is key as well as understanding of code versioning, collaboration, testing, reliability, and accessibility, technologies and standards.

You'll also need Proven experience developing productionised, scaled, maintained and monitored AI/ML solutions and models, leveraging MLOps.
Experience using Google Cloud Platform or other equivalent cloud developer services for Data Science.
Skilled in coding (Python preferred), or other object-oriented language as well as software engineering techniques.
Skilled in data pre-processing, feature selection, SQL (Big Query), scripting and ETL approaches.
Strong understanding of data and machine learning orchestration and workflow pipeline engineering, development and deployment technologies.
Practical experience with ML Ops governance standards for sustainable and scalable ML maintenance.
Experience using enterprise-grade AI/ML platforms such as Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker or Azure ML is advantageous.
Strong understanding of ML and AI techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, timeseries prediction, ensemble learning, NLP, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Predictive AI is all relevant.
Computer Science background who has developed into a Senior AI/ML engineer or experience working in Data Science with exposure to a production environment.
