The Opportunity Reporting to the Head Of Technology, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our core IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security of our systems.
The Systems Administrator will play a crucial part in supporting our daily operations and future growth by implementing robust solutions and providing technical support to our organisation.
Key Responsibilities General Monitor and maintain network and server systems to ensure high availability and performance Identify and resolve issues related to network infrastructure, hardware components and software applications Monitor and maintain file storage systems Manage regular backups and recovery operations Installation, configuration and maintenance of new hardware and software Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies Support other IT team members, acting as an escalation point for service desk requests and support ongoing projects Work closely with our security team to ensure systems consistently meet security frameworks and business requirements Provide recommendations on improvements whilst staying aligned with current industry trends and emerging technologies About You Industry Experience in a technical support or administrator role (~2 Years)Proficient in Windows operating systems and Server environments (mac OS desirable)Experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery systems Well-rounded knowledge of Microsoft networking fundamentals (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, Routing) and security best practices Management skills of networking infrastructure; switches, routers, WAPs Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and management Working knowledge of mass storage devices (Net App preferred)Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-VExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer As a valued staff member of our Sporting Club you will be a part of a fun, inclusive and flexible work environment:10 Days Gifted Club Leave (in addition to your 4-weeks Annual Leave)Access to state of art High Performance Gym Facility Access to Professional Development and Learning Development Courses Access to tickets to all AFL and AFLW matches Access to exclusive partner offers, the likes of Nike, Emirates, AIA Vitality, La Trobe, CUB Economy, Business Class with Emirates, Sonos and Taylor Made Opportunities to support with Collingwood community outreach and volunteer programs (Magpie Nest Cafe)Behind the scenes access to Match-Day, including the ability to support in on-ground activations To Apply If you are interested in this position, please click apply with your CV and cover letter that addresses why you are interested in working with the Collingwood Football Club, how your skills/experience would qualify for the position, and how you would contribute to the culture of the organization.
