Procurement Lead - Store Development Location : Dandenong South Store Support Office Full-time, Permanent Baby Bunting is Australia's largest nursery specialty retailer, dedicated to supporting parents through every step of their journey.

We're seeking a Procurement Lead with proven experience in sourcing from local, Chinese & international markets, ideally within a fast-paced environment such as retail, shop fit-out, or construction, to join our growing Store Development team.
In this role, you'll lead procurement for our national store network across new builds, refurbishments, services, and facilities.
Your responsibilities will include negotiating supplier contracts and driving value and compliance across purchases, playing a key part in delivering innovative stores for Australian families.
Why this role matters : We're expanding rapidly, planning to grow from 75 to 110 stores, including smaller-format sites and a new "Store of the Future" concept at our flagship Maribyrnong store.
To support this growth, we're expanding our Store Development team with nine new roles, each contributing to transforming our store network to better support families across Australia and New Zealand.
Your day-to-day will include : Developing and executing a procurement strategy aligned with our store development plans Leading end-to-end procurement for store projects, including capital expenditure, fit-out services, and sundry goods Establishing preferred supplier panels and securing competitive pricing and terms Collaborating with Store Development and Facilities teams to forecast needs and align sourcing strategies Managing RFQs, tenders, contract negotiations, and procurement governance Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring service levels and KPIs are met Analyzing market trends and pricing to inform procurement decisions Creating scalable policies, processes, and tools Supporting project timelines by managing procurement dependencies What you'll bring : Experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management roles Experience sourcing from local, Chinese, and international markets (please highlight this in your resume) Proven ability in fast-paced environments such as retail, shop fit-out, or construction Strong commercial acumen, budgeting, and negotiation skills Knowledge of procurement legislation and ethical sourcing principles Experience with ERP or procurement platforms A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related discipline Baby Bunting (ASX: BBN) is a purpose-led organization experiencing significant growth, with over 70 stores in Australia and New Zealand and ongoing expansion plans.
