The Role We're looking for a senior engineer with strong front-end expertise who can take ownership of our user experience.
While this role is front-end focused, you'll work across the full stack to deliver high-quality features.
You'll collaborate closely with our CTO and engineering team, converting designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and intuitive interfaces that make Coursebox a delight to use.
What you'll work on Front-end development - Lead development using Angular JS v1, Type Script, HTML, and CSSUI implementation - Work with UI designers to bring Figma designs to life in a way that is visually stunning and user-friendly Backend collaboration - Contribute to backend services in Node.js (Loopback), Postgre SQL, and Redis when needed APIs & integrations - Build and integrate APIs to power AI-driven course creation features Product collaboration - Work closely with the team to solve technical challenges and improve the overall user experience What we're looking for Strong front-end skills - Angular JS v1 or willingness to work with it as we transition to a modern framework, and CSS (tailwind)Experience working with designers and translating Figma designs into production-ready code Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices Familiarity with backend development in Node.js, Postgre SQL, and Redis Experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Git Hub Co-pilot, or Chat GPTStart-up mindset — hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Interest in AI, Ed Tech, and B2 B Saa S products Why you'll love working here Competitive salary plus equity in a rapidly scaling global Saa S company Hybrid work from home and our Perth CBD office High-impact role with ownership of the front-end experience used by customers worldwide A collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team where your ideas are valued The chance to join early and share in the upside as we grow towards our unicorn goal How to apply If you want to help build a product that's reshaping online learning worldwide and thrive in a fast-moving start-up, we'd love to hear from you.
