About the role The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Officer – Training Coordination to support and coordinate the delivery of high-quality training and development programs that build staff capability across NPWS.
This includes internal initiatives such as the Culture Priorities program and Aboriginal Cultural Capability training, as well as externally-delivered leadership training programs.
From managing logistics, participant communication, and provider liaison through to budget tracking and compliance reporting, you'll play a key role in ensuring training runs smoothly and effectively.
Working closely with DCCEEW Learning & Development, People Partners, and subject matter experts across NPWS, you'll organise surveys, analyse feedback, prepare reports, and share learning resources to help staff grow their capabilities.
This is a great opportunity to combine your organisational and project coordination skills with your passion for enabling others to succeed, all while contributing to the vital work of NPWS.

About You You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives on coordinating programs and projects that make a real impact.
With experience in administrative support and project delivery, you're comfortable navigating systems and technology to manage training logistics, track participation, and support reporting requirements.
You excel at liaising with stakeholders, coordinating providers, handling invoices and keeping everything running smoothly, all while contributing to the growth and development of NPWS staff.
Your attention to detail, adaptability, and passion for helping others succeed make you the go-to person for ensuring training programs are delivered seamlessly and effectively.
