About the role We are looking for a Facilities Engineering Specialist to join our team in our Malaga Data Centre for Fujitsu.
This role is a permanent role, based in Malaga, Perthand reporting into the Data Centre Manager.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities The Facilities specialist key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Liaise with clients and service providers as required at the Fujitsu, Malaga DC.
Maintain site reliability through identification of risk and application of risk reduction strategies.
Subcontractor management and supervision including maintenance, repair and new installations.
Maintenance scope preparation.
Provide breakdown response and situation management.
Maintain building records including but not limited to procedures and maintenance records.
Ensuring all work performed on site meets the agreed scope of works and an acceptable level of quality.
Provide Safety management of all sub-contractors, including first aid, isolation of equipment and communication of safe working methods.
Prepare and develop operational documents.
Conduct regular building inspections.
Conduct or supervise the operation of building equipment.
Conduct minor repairs or installations as required to Fujitsu buildings.
Participate in site auditing activities Ensure the confidentiality and security of data is maintained.
Ensure compliance at all times to site and customer specific security policies.
Provide on-call support as part of a scheduled roster.
Requirements and Experience Come and be part of a close-knit team in Perth.
This role has a huge variety of tasks, and no two days will be the sameTo hit the ground running we are ideally looking for someone with: Subcontractor management Safety and Environmental work practice minimum 3 year's experience.
Maintenance management in an IT and DC environment.
Maintenance of building services.
Risk management of critical environment.
Electrical or Mechanical trade experience will be highly desirable.
