An opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator for the Emergency Department to join the established hospital team at a private hospital in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE As the Nurse Educator, you will take on a leadership role in providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation to graduate nurses & students.
You will promote a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients through the dissemination of current best practice knowledge.
In addition, you will also ensure staff compliance with annual Mandatory Training and completion of e Learning components.
In this role, you will also attend relevant policy & procedure meetings, ward meetings and bi-monthly Education Meetings.
REQUIREMENTS Current AHPRA registration; Post Graduate Certificate in ED (or working towards); Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE) (or working towards); Educator experience in a similar role; Demonstrated experience in e Learning platforms; High degree of computer literacy including MS Office; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The Hospital, located in Melbourne, is a fully accredited tertiary facility with over 250 beds, providing Emergency Services, Intensive Care and Cardiac Services, including two twenty-four-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
The Hospital has 13 theatres, which offer a broad range of specialties, including Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Urology, Laparoscopic, Colorectal, Vascular and General Surgery and 2 dedicated endoscopy units.
