Due to strong business growth we are seeking an experienced Fleet Workshop Supervisor to take charge of our well-equipped workshop and ensure the reliable performance of our 24/7 heavy vehicle fleet.
This is a leadership role where you will be accountable for the performance of the workshop team, driving productivity, safety, and quality at all times.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will play a critical part in keeping our operation running at peak efficiency.
Requirements Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Essential)Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in a heavy vehicle workshop environment (Essential)HR/HC driver licence (Highly regarded)Forklift Licence (Highly regarded)Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage a team of workshop technicians to deliver high-quality servicing and repairs Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards Monitor and drive team performance, providing clear direction and accountability Manage workflow scheduling, parts requirements, and job allocation Maintain strong compliance with WHS policies and procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise fleet uptime and reduce downtime costs Skills & Experience Demonstrated leadership experience in a workshop supervisory role Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate a team High-level organisational skills with attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with workshop management systems What We Offer Permanent, full-time role with immediate start Above award wages plus overtime opportunities Day & Afternoon shifts (with rotating Saturday overtime)A supportive management team with a focus on results Modern, safety-focused workshop with strong company investment in equipment and people
