Seniors Program Volunteer

This role supports a variety of activities designed to keep seniors active, connected, and engaged.
What youll do : Assist with setting up and running daily programs (e.g.
gentle exercise, bingo, mahjong)Greet participants, direct visitors and assist with sign-in and activity payments Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and friendly environment Provide general assistance to Y Queensland staff as needed What were looking for : A friendly, patient, and respectful attitude Good communication and interpersonal skills A genuine interest in working with older adults Willingness to complete a Blue Card and Y Queensland Volunteer Training What youll gain : Experience in community and aged care support Meaningful connections with local seniors A chance to give back and make a real difference Be part of something bigger.
