You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
About Us Damascus Health Services is a 44 bed unit located in Brisbane Private Hospital in Spring Hill.
We provide a confidential and flexible approach to the care and treatment of people with problems related to the use of alcohol and/or prescribed and over-the-counter drugs As a Clinical Nurse Your Responsibilities Will Include Adhering to NSQHS standards and Hospital policy and procedure Providing evidenced based nursing care Liaising with the multidisciplinary team Ensuring patient and staff safety Ensuring e Learning and mandatory training is completed on a regular basis Liaising with Psychiatrists and other member of MDTEssential Criteria Current Registration with AHPRA5+ years' experience in a Mental Health inpatient setting Addictions/detox experience preferrable (not essential)A demonstrated interest in the field of addictive behaviours, specialisation in the field, substantial experience, or postgraduate qualifications or Continual Professional Development Demonstrate ability to deliver high quality patient care.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development Exceptional time management and organisational skills Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE)Compliance with ACQSHC National standards·Demonstrated experience in e Learning platforms·Knowledge of adult learning practises and contemporary education practises Post graduate qualifications in mental health or addiction disorders (Desirable)Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
