We are singularly focused on the supply and technical support of single point automatic lubrication systems and are market leaders in Australia and Worldwide.www.perma.com.auwww.perma-tec.com About the role: We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Sales Representative to join our team in Queensland.
This role focuses on maintaining and expanding our customer base, particularly within the mining and minerals processing sectors.
You'll play a key role in supporting clients on their journey toward IIo T-enabled lubrication systems.
This is a home-office-based role with regular travel required across Northern Queensland and the Northern Territory, especially the Bowen Basin region.
Mackay is an ideal base, but other locations will be considered, including Brisbane and alternative regional Queensland cities, provided that travel requirements can be met.
Key responsibilities: Provide technical support to new and existing customers to ensure optimal use of Perma lubrication systems Promote and technically support the implementation of our connected lubrication solutions with a key focus on our Lo Ra WAN enabled products Collaborate with distribution partners to grow their sales and technical capabilities Identify and develop new business opportunities, from prospecting to implementation Conduct technical assessments and prepare written recommendations and quotations Perform equipment surveys, particularly on fixed plant assets such as motors, conveyors, pumps, and fans Deliver training to customer personnel on Perma products and systems Maintain regular activity reports and contribute to business development planning The remuneration package is negotiable, based on experience and includes a fully maintained vehicle, a home office allowance and excellent opportunities for bonuses.
Benefits: Competitive salary package (negotiable based on experience)Interesting subject matter with a high quality range of clients Opportunity to work with industry-leading German-engineered products Exciting pipeline for new product releases Work from home Fully maintained car Home office allowance (must have a dedicated home office space which meets company policy)Skills and experience: Proven ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales, ideally within the mining sector Demonstrated success in business growth and client relationship management Mechanical trade qualification or engineering background (preferred but not essential)Understanding of lubrication principles and rolling element bearings Interest in IIo T technologies and connected lubrication systems Knowledge of fixed plant equipment in mining and mineral processing Experience working with reliability, maintenance, and condition monitoring teams Hands-on approach to technical support and client engagement Physical capability for site audits and equipment inspections Willingness to complete site inductions, medical clearances, and drug/alcohol testing Strong written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 29th August 5 PM AEDST.
