The Project The Torrens to Darlington (T2 D) Alliance, comprising John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs, and Ventia, has secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5 km section of the North-South Corridor, creating a lasting legacy for the community of Adelaide.
The project involves a 10.5 km motorway, including over 4 km of twin three-lane tunnels, road and bridge construction, and complex M&E installations.
Scheduled to open in 2031, the T2 D alliance offers the people of Adelaide an opportunity to be part of an iconic project, with career stability and opportunities for progression and development.
The Role The Engagement Advisor will support the Senior Engagement Advisor / Engagement Lead in executing community engagement strategies within their designated precinct of the project.
This role is key in fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders, supporting the Construction team, and ensuring minimal community disruption during project delivery.
Responsibilities : Identify stakeholder and community issues and develop strategies to minimise impacts.
Ensure client expectations are understood and develop strong working relationships with the client.
Assist in developing and implementing the Stakeholder Relations and Communications Management Plan, including updates as required.
Build good relationships with the construction team to ensure activities are strategically undertaken, minimising impact and disruption.
Provide advice to the construction teams on community and stakeholder activities, ensuring communication and notification requirements are met per the plan.
Produce high-quality communication materials such as notifications, newsletters, advertisements, social media posts, and formal correspondence, and coordinate residential door knocks as needed.
Manage responses to all project-related communications via phone, email, website, and social media, in line with the client framework.
About you Tertiary degree, certificate, or relevant experience in public relations, journalism, stakeholder management, or marketing.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, including at least 2 years in an advisory role.
Experience in developing and implementing community engagement plans within construction or infrastructure sectors.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with the local area and community dynamics is highly desirable.
