+ bonus + parking Based in the South Western suburbs, this privately owned food manufacturing business is seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its national finance function during a strategic period of expansion.
With an entrepreneurial CEO and a newly appointed board leading the business, the company is expanding with purpose, investing in its people, systems, and products.
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function, influence strategy at the highest level, and contribute directly to the long-term success of a sustainable and environmentally positive company.
Working in close collaboration with the CEO and broader leadership team, the CFO will provide the insight, commercial leadership, and operational rigour required to support sustainable growth, enhance financial visibility, and ensure strong governance across the business.
In this role, you will: Shape and execute the company's financial strategy, aligned to long-term objectives and growth priorities Partner with senior leaders to provide data-led insights, modelling, and advice on investment, performance, and operational efficiency Deliver timely, accurate, and strategic forecasting and reporting that enables confident decision-making at the highest level Identify opportunities for acquisition and new product development Enhance systems, processes, and reporting, driving automation and improved visibility across the business Foster a culture of performance and accountability within a small, capable finance team, ensuring alignment across finance, operations, and support functions About You You're a strategic finance leader who brings more than numbers, you think commercially, operate proactively, and play a key role in shaping business direction.
