Graduate Accountant role supporting financial, taxation, and business services at Apiary Financial in Milton, Brisbane.
Your Role Key responsibilities include : Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements Assisting with strategic taxation and business advice Liaising with the ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies Working closely with partners and the accounting team to provide broad accounting, taxation, business, and superannuation support Exposure to tax and compliance matters including Div 7 A, GST, SMSFs, CGT, and FBTAbout You What you'll need : Recent graduate or final year student in a relevant tertiary degree Good understanding of general accounting principles and Australian tax law Excellent communication skills High attention to detail Competency with Microsoft Office programs Proactive, client-focused attitude Genuine interest in tax Commitment to developing accounting skills Compensation & Benefits Modern office near Suncorp Stadium with electronic sit / stand desks and three monitors Up to 100 hours of paid study and exam leave Module support and professional mentorship for CA or CPA postgraduate qualification Regular social events and an open-door policy with partners Training & Development Extensive in-house training and ongoing professional development opportunities Professional mentorship to complete CA or CPA qualifications How to Apply To apply, email your CV, university transcript, and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
