We have a newly appointed and energetic Executive Leadership Team who are working with our staff and elected Council to take Sutherland Shire to the next level.

As an Asset Analyst/Engineer within our Strategic Asset Management team, you'll play a key role in implementing Council's asset management framework and contributing to the development of our road pavement programs.

Working in a supportive environment, we'll impower your innovation and professional growth.

You'll be involved in preparing and reviewing technical levels of service, developing capital works programs, managing consultants and contractors, and providing technical advice to internal teams.

Your expertise will help ensure that Council's transport assets remain sustainable and resilient for generations to come.

Candidate Profile We are seeking a results-driven professional with a passion for asset management.

Your ability to work well autonomously, navigate complex project environments and deliver exceptional outcomes will set you apart.

Tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management, or a related field, complemented by extensive experience in roads.

A valid Class C Driver's Licence.

Familiarity with asset management principles.

Highly developed analytical, project management and organisational skills with proven ability to assess risks and develop timely, innovative solutions to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and our community.

Willingness to attend external training or courses to support ongoing professional development and enhance technical capability.

Package: $88,000 - $96,000 gross p.a.
