Education Assistant

We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally work collaboratively with teachers to plan and implement engaging, challenging and purposeful learning programs that are inclusive of all students in their care.
It will ideally be highly regarded if you have high expectations and possess the belief that every child can succeed and that every child is important.
The successful applicant will ideally support the teacher to nurture students' academic and social and emotional growth.
Ideally, the successful applicant will ideally display experience in supporting phonics, oral language and social and emotional learning programs.
Under the guidance of the teacher, you will assist in the delivery of planned educational programs, implement individual or small-group programs and provide valuable feedback to support student learning, including working with students identified as being at educational risk.
It is highly desirable that the successful applicant is self-reflective, welcomes feedback and committed to ongoing growth of your practice.
