Their team is driven by a passion for delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.Job DescriptionSeeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in construction and have completed their studies at RMIT or Deakin University.
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of each project and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Contract Management: Administer and manage construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, and deadlines.Document Control: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.Cost Control: Assist in tracking project costs and budgets, and provide regular cost reports to project stakeholders.Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, including bid evaluations and contract negotiations.Variation Management: Process variations and change orders, documenting all changes and ensuring proper approvals.Claims and Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing and resolving contract-related claims and disputes in collaboration with the project team.Client Communication: Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and timely reporting.Compliance: Ensure that all contractual and legal requirements are met, including permits, insurance, and regulatory compliance.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.Closeout: Assist in the contract closeout process, including final inspections, documentation, and project handover.
The Ideal Candidate Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field (Preferably from RMIT or Deakin University).Previous experience in contract administration within the construction industry is a plus.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including legal and financial aspects.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
