Area Manager - Early Childhood - Regional Qld Lady Gowrie QLD is a well-respected not-for-profit organisation committed to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) across Queensland and Australia.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced professional to join us as Area Manager – Regional.
This position can be based in Brisbane or North Queensland, available as either part-time or full-time.
In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of early childhood centres, providing leadership, operational guidance, and hands-on support to Centre Managers through regular site visits.
Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality education and care, compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), and achieving operational and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Travel to regional Queensland services to provide on-site support and guidance.
Lead, mentor, and coach Centre Directors to build high-performing teams.
Support educational leadership with pedagogical expertise.
Ensure compliance with Lady Gowrie QLD policies, procedures, and the NQF, fostering continuous improvement.
Monitor service performance, occupancy, and budget targets.
Prepare reports on visits, outcomes, and progress.
Maintain readiness for assessments, ratings, and audits.
Build positive relationships with families, educators, communities, stakeholders, and regulators.
About You We seek a confident leader with: A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or relevant qualification with leadership experience.2–5 years' experience as a Centre Manager or Area Manager overseeing multiple services (preferred).
Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and the NQF.
Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Understanding of service leadership, staff management, and community engagement.
Current Working with Children (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
Knowledge of ECEC legislation, assessment and rating processes, and continuous improvement strategies.
Understanding of EYLF and QKLG frameworks.
Commitment to inclusive, culturally respectful practice and family partnerships.
A valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Queensland.
