About the Role We're looking for a Senior Learning Designer to take ownership of developing engaging, high-quality digital and print learning resources across AIM's course offerings.
This role involves converting source content into interactive, visually appealing online modules while ensuring the instructional design aligns with best practice.
You'll play a key role in shaping the learning experience through strong stakeholder engagement, effective project delivery, and a creative approach to content design—including visual assets like charts, diagrams, and workbooks.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with flexible working options.
Responsibilities Design interactive, modular digital learning experiences aligned to adult learning principles.
Convert subject matter into engaging online and print content, including workbooks and visuals.
Collaborate with academic and subject stakeholders through structured workflows.
Create detailed storyboards for animations and coordinate with graphic designers.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
Regularly improve learning design approaches based on feedback and student needs.
Maintain adherence to AIM's design standards to ensure consistency and reusability.
About You 5+ years of experience designing digital or blended learning, ideally in a vocational or higher ed setting.
Strong design background, particularly in print and visuals (e.g., Adobe In Design, Illustrator).
Excellent writing skills with a clear, engaging tone.
Deep understanding of online learning principles and pedagogical theory.
Ability to manage content development from end-to-end and meet tight deadlines.
Skilled at stakeholder communication and small-scale project management.
Comfortable working autonomously and bringing creative ideas to life.
