Add expected salary to your profile for insights Must have General Insurance and Technology experience General Insurance Platform | P&L Ownership | Strategic Role Permanent – $230k–$250k Package + Bonus Head of General Insurance Product Must have General Insurance and Technology experience General Insurance Platform | P&L Ownership | Strategic Role Permanent – $230k–$250k Package + Bonus Role Overview: Lead a high-performing technology division overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and delivery of a core insurance platform Manage end-to-end technology delivery for new insurance product launches, platform enhancements, integrations, and upgrades Act as the key interface between executive leadership and technical teams to ensure platform capabilities align with business growth and operational needs Own the P&L for the division, manage vendor relationships, drive cost optimisation and ensure commercial outcomes Develop and execute a future-fit technology roadmap to support ongoing scalability, security, and performance Build and nurture a multidisciplinary team covering engineering, project delivery, analysis, and support functions Ensure compliance, data security, risk governance, and key person risk mitigation are embedded across the operation Provide ongoing reporting to leadership on performance metrics, delivery timelines, and emerging risks or opportunities Skills & Experience: Proven senior leadership experience in enterprise technology delivery, within general insurance – Must have general insurance product experience Strong understanding of policy administration systems or large-scale enterprise platforms Commercial acumen with hands-on experience owning a technology division P&L and managing technology budgets Deep experience delivering technology in regulated industries with strong governance and security postures Expertise in cloud architecture, software development methodologies, and system integration practices Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills – trusted advisor to executives and non-technical teams Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability What's on Offer: Rare opportunity to lead a mission-critical platform at the centre of a growing insurance network Direct influence over strategic technology direction and agency product enablement High-visibility role reporting to executive leadership with broad scope and autonomy Competitive Permanent Package – $230k–$250k + Bonus Sydney-based | Hybrid working model with flexibility How to Apply: If you are a senior technology leader with a strong track record in enterprise platform delivery, commercial leadership, and stakeholder engagement— within general insurance – Must have general insurance product experience —we'd love to hear from you.
