Play an important part supporting business of our iconic Australian institution Use your technical expertise and experience to deliver outstanding customer service About the business/role/team The RBA are seeking an IT System Analyst to join Currency Systems, Information Technology department, who will have a dedicated focus to drive support and maintenance of the Note Issue application portfolio.
Work collaboratively with a wide array of stakeholders including business, vendors, project and BAU teams to ensure high-quality customer service.
About the role Analyse, recommend, design, implement and manage changes and updates to the software, including major upgrades, patches and minor version updates, customisations and configurations.
Ensure currency of all technical components of the system portfolio including security patching.
Actively participate in the management of all stakeholders, delivery partners and customers to ensure that high quality customer service is delivered.
Provide technical support to users and resolves issues, supporting infrastructure and application (where appropriate).
Actively seek and execute opportunities for business process improvement to ensure that best practice is maintained.
Support Production systems and the Bank's users via troubleshooting and technical problem resolution.
Plan for system upgrades and implementation of new versions of software and applications.
Support the analysis of business requirements, change impact assessments, incident/problem analysis support, development of reporting outputs, managing systems documentation and systems implementation documentation.
Works closely with developers, tech leads, testers and a variety of end users to provide understanding of business and system requirements, processes and integration.
About you The position requires an understanding of application and infrastructure architecture, solution development lifecycle (SDLC), and essential aspects of IT Service Management (for e.g.
Change Management, Business Relationship Management, Information Security, Configuration Management etc).
Previous experience of working as a System Analyst on enterprise Java web applications would be beneficial to the success in this role.
SQL server/client knowledge and experience to build queries to validate requirements, data and support for business reporting is required.
