In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales growth within a state-based territory, focusing on the 20–99 employee business segment.
You will act as a trusted advisor to business owners and key decision-makers, providing tailored communication and IT solutions.
Your strong relationship-building skills, commercially savvy, and proactive sales mindset will be critical in growing and retaining our customer base.
Your day in the li fe of a Relationship Manager at Optus Conduct regular face-to-face and virtual meetings with customers to assess business needs and build strong relationships.
Engage directly with business owners and operational leads to deliver tailored communication and IT solutions.
Maintain proactive engagement to identify new opportunities and strengthen customer retention.
Prepare for and document customer interactions in CRM systems to ensure clarity and follow-up.
Stay up to date with technology advancements, and competitor activity relevant to small businesses.
Collaborate with a dedicated support pod to manage service delivery, resolve issues, and execute opportunities.
Build and maintain detailed territory and customer plans aligned to retention and growth targets.
Represent the company professionally at customer meetings and local business events.
Your skills to pay the bills Proven experience in a sales or relationship management role, preferably within the mid-market segment.
Strong relationship-building skills and commercial acumen.
Proactive sales mindset with a focus on achieving results.
You have a growth mindset through continuous learning and improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in CRM systems and data management.
