Location : Brisbane, Queensland Type : Permanent Job #17415 Salary : A$145,000 Per Day Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Network and Systems Engineer for a permanent role based in Brisbane.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in network architecture, system infrastructure, and IT security.
You will play a key role in supporting and improving customer networks and systems while driving innovation and best practices.
Responsibilities Provide technical leadership in managing customer networks, infrastructure, and security Proactively identify and implement improvements through automation and best practice configuration Troubleshoot escalated incidents involving security, routing, and switching Lead technical integrations across WAN, WLAN, LAN, Virtual Infrastructure, Iaa S, MS Office 365, firewalls, and more Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable networks and systems Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and effective problem solving Stay ahead of emerging security threats and industry trends, providing insights and solutions Support ongoing improvement of processes and reference architectures Skills5+ years of experience in network architecture, design, and support (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VPN)Proficient in troubleshooting WAN, WLAN, LAN, Virtual Infrastructure, and MS environments Expertise in scripting languages and IT security practices Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CCNP / CCIE, CISSP, or VCP are highly regarded Familiarity with Microsoft Server, Office 365, Azure, Hyper-V, VMware, and scripting technologies Knowledge of security systems (e.g.
Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos) and networking infrastructure (e.g.
