We're looking for experienced Network Engineers with current NV2 clearances, who thrive in secure, large-scale environments and are keen to grow their careers within a supportive and high-performing team.

About the Role

As a Network Engineer at Informatech, you'll be responsible for delivering secure network design, planning and implementation activities across a range of high-profile Defence programs. You'll work closely with other technical specialists to resolve complex issues, optimise network performance and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve network issues, providing expert advice and preventative strategies.
  • Manage support requests and ensure problems are addressed in line with standards, policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement network changes and maintenance activities.
  • Apply knowledge of Defence and industry data, voice and audio networking technologies.
  • Identify alternative solutions and mitigation strategies for complex network problems.
  • Contribute to other network engineering tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or a related field.
  • Strong experience in network security, including enterprise proxy and load balancing systems.
  • Background working across diverse network systems and architectures.
  • Proven ability to deliver secure network solutions in complex environments.
  • Ideally experience working within Defence or other highly secure Federal Government environments.
