Control Systems Engineer Company: Global EPCM companyProject: BHP Project (Iron Ore, Port)Location: Perth CBDDuration: 12-months casual contract Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, program, and commission control systems Configure and test LV drives Interpret & work P&IDs, electrical schematics Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment & delivery Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree.
5-10 years of Iron Ore industry experience.
Hands-on experience in Allen Bradley PLC, Flex 5000 remote I/O, E300 motor protection relay, Siemens LV drive configuration, programming/coding, testing and on-site commissioning experience for the WA iron-ore industry is essential.
Familiarity with BHP WAIO or Port standard drive logic including safety PLCs.
Ability to follow P&IDs, electrical schematics and other design documentation.
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
Knowledge of Ethernet/devicenet communications network configuration is desirable.
