The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in architecture and design, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
Knowledge of wagering systems is a plus, and familiarity with strategic program management is essential.
Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable architecture solutions using Databricks.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively.
Develop and maintain architectural documentation and design specifications.
Participate in strategic planning and program management activities.
Mandatory Skills: Expertise in Databricks and its ecosystem.
Strong understanding of data architecture and data engineering principles.
Proven experience in designing and implementing large scale data solutions.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of wagering systems and related technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with strategic program management methodologies.
Experience in Agile and Dev Ops practices.
Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.15+ years of experience in architecture and design, with a focus on data solutions.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
