About the Role Provision of the highest standards of clinical anaesthesia and peri-operative patient care Ensuring patient safety by understanding and appropriately managing clinical risk This role will involve the provision of anaesthesia related services as determined by the needs of Princess Alexandra Hospital and Redland Hospital.
This may involve services in, but is not limited to: Main Operating theatres Obstetric anaesthesia (Bayside)Paediatric anaesthesia (Bayside)Pre-Admission Clinic Acute Pain Service Endoscopy suite Cardiac Catheter laboratories (PAH)Radiology Department Day Surgery Procedure Unit (PAH)Involvement in the provision of on-call services Appropriate documentation of care using the electronic medical record keeping system Contribute to processes to improve the continuity of clinical care, coordination of services, clinical handover, and discharge planning during and after hospitalisation Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
