As Senior Manager, Strategy and Planning, you'll be responsible for leading the development and execution of commercial strategies, embedding strategic frameworks, and ensuring initiatives align with business priorities.
You'll oversee market intelligence, business case development, and new product innovation while providing critical insights that support executive decision-making.
This role will see you at the centre of strategic planning, governance, and high-level stakeholder engagement across ORIX's diversified leasing operations.
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO : Develop and embed strategic planning frameworks, translating business strategy into clear priorities and execution roadmaps Lead competitor analysis, market scanning, and external benchmarking to deliver actionable insights Identify, assess, and pilot new product opportunities that align with commercial viability and strategic goals Oversee business case development and provide M&A support, including due diligence and integration planning Chair governance forums, track initiatives against value targets, and ensure strategic risks are effectively managed Build and lead a high-performing, values-driven team culture while influencing leadership capability across the business WHAT YOU HAVE :7+ years' experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting Strong background in strategic planning, M&A, and business case development Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field Financial services, asset leasing, or capital-intensive industry experience (fleet, novated, automotive or mobility highly regarded)Proven ability to deliver insights through competitor analysis, market intelligence, and commercial modelling Skilled in strategic frameworks (OKRs, SWOT, scenario planning) with advanced Excel and Power Point capability Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams A collaborative and resilient leadership style with strong commercial acumen and risk awareness At ORIX, you'll be part of a values-driven organisation where innovation, collaboration, and integrity are at the core of everything we do.
