This role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping customers get the most out of their technology.
You'll be part of a collaborative support team, handling technical issues across software, networks, and databases, while working directly with stakeholders to ensure systems run smoothly.
Alongside day-to-day troubleshooting, you'll contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing, helping to drive efficiency and enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for software, network configurations, databases, and application environments.
Triage, diagnose, and resolve production issues—ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Conduct code-level troubleshooting and ensure software consistency across all environments.
Monitor and maintain system performance in a 24/7 operational environment.
Test and validate new software releases prior to deployment.
Maintain detailed system documentation and operating procedures.
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to implement fixes, patches, and enhancements.
Proactively manage customer expectations, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds agreed standards.
What You'll need: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field.
Strong experience in IT support, with expertise in database server management (Oracle, SQL) and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of networking protocols and security practices.
Ability to manage multiple technical issues with strong prioritisation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft products.
Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive and analytical approach.
