The Opportunity In this pivotal 12-month role, you'll step into a position designed to support our Interim CEO during the maternity leave of our Founder.
You will be the driving force behind securing essential funding streams through grants, philanthropy, and partnerships—key to ensuring the financial sustainability of our organisation.
This role isn't just about securing income; it's about building and strengthening long-term relationships with funders and donors that will carry Ocean Mind forward.
Key Responsibilities: Apply for and secure grants to meet funding targets.
Lead philanthropy fundraising efforts to develop new partnerships and sustain existing relationships.
Maintain and nurture relationships with high-net-worth donors and key philanthropic partners.
Collaborate closely with the wider team, especially the Events Fundraiser, to deliver cohesive and impactful fundraising strategies.
Represent Ocean Mind at meetings and networking events to expand our network of supporters.

What You Bring: A proven track record in securing significant grants and building lasting philanthropy partnerships.
Strong connections within the Australian fundraising and philanthropic community, with a particular focus on Victoria.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A passion for youth mental health and the mission of Ocean Mind.
The details Location: Remote, with meetings in Victoria as required.
Head office in Torquay.
Salary: SCHADS Award Level 7, Paypoint 1 - $55,246 p/a.
Contract:12 months, with potential for extension.
Start Date: January/February 2025.
