Overview Finance Business Partner responsible for developing robust financial models, delivering analysis on project valuations and operations performance, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Downer\'s objectives and standards.
Responsibilities Business Partnering Financial Planning, Budgeting and Reporting Business Process Improvement Develop robust financial models and provide analysis on project valuations and operations performance Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Downer\'s Zero Harm, client and business objectives Education & Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience Membership with a recognised professional accounting body in Australia (CAANZ / CPA)Experience5+ years\' experience in accounting, business analysis, or finance roles within a medium-to-large commercial organisation or Big 4 professional services firm Advanced financial modelling experience with proven ability in designing and building complex financial models from scratch in Excel Proficient in data analytics and visualisation; ability to use large data to forecast outcomes and provide actionable insights using Power BI and Power Point Demonstrated experience in scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and advanced valuation techniques Proven success in partnering with senior management stakeholders and relationship building Strong background in the use of large ERPs (JDEGS and One Stream preferred)Demonstrated ability to establish, lead and manage robust business improvement initiatives and efficiencies Skills and knowledge Advanced financial modelling skills using complex Excel formulas, Power Query, VBA/macros and automation Advanced BI/data tools skill (Power BI, SQL, or similar)Strong understanding of project accounting principles Excellent interpersonal and business partnering skills with finance and operations Skilled in budgeting and planning along with variance analysis to understand performance drivers Ability to collect, distil, analyse and interpret large quantities of transactional and balance data to provide meaningful insight APPLY NOW: To apply for this opportunity please click the APPLY NOW button.
