About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing FP&A / commercial function - in a leading consumer goods organisation. It is a key business partner role, and a rare opportunity for a Financial Accountant to transition into the commercial finance space.

Responsibilities
  • Business partner across the organisation
  • 3-way modelling and cashflow management, cashflow forecasting
  • Monthly profit estimates
  • Work closely with Finance team and external stakeholders to own and manage ongoing forecasting
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to manage budget and forecast development and process
  • Drive efficiencies in our systems and processes, exploring initiatives to eliminate manual or redundant tasks
  • Development and ongoing maintenance of reporting templates in Excel and data models
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
