Join Our Team as a Coastal Engineer
Make a real impact on South Australia's
coastlines.
We're looking for a Coastal Engineer to
play a key role in managing and protecting Adelaide's
beaches.
In this dynamic role, you'll contribute to coastal
engineering investigations, advise on technical matters, support
the delivery of key operations like sand carting and dredging, and
help assess coastal development applications.
You'll work closely with stakeholders, oversee contract
delivery, and support procurement processes — all while
helping to safeguard our coastal environments.

Assessment of coastal development applications
Advice and support to key stakeholders and senior
engineers
Management of procurement and site works for coastal
protection projects

Essential Qualifications: A degree in
Engineering (civil or environmental) is essential.
Special Conditions:
May be required to participate in responses to state
emergencies or associated duties.
You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or
provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows
you to work in Australia without restrictions.
May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel,
occasional overnight absences, and work outside of the normal
hours of work.
Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be
required to obtain a National Police Check.
A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness
and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
Remuneration:
PO2, $88,255 min - $97,667 max p.a.
