We are currently seeking applications from experienced Mechanical Fitters for upcoming opportunities.
Location: Opportunities are FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra to our Pilbara WA mine sites Roster: 7 D7 N7 R OR 7 D7 N14 R Please note this is a centralised advertisement for positions across all operational sites.

Key Responsibilities Maintaining plant and equipment to ensure the efficient operation the ore processing facility Follow standard work instructions Conduct daily inspections Provide quality shift handovers, and maintain daily logs and reporting Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help improve plant performance Identify hazards in the work environment and resolve them in an efficient and timely manner Qualifications and Experience Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Previous experience operating large scale wet or dry processing plants, ideally in a mining environment Ability to risk assess and apply controls with a high regard for safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through two-way operations Current C Class Drivers Licence Our Commitment Fortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
