2x Full time, fixed term for 2 years Opportunity to teach marketing in a collegial and supportive environment Base Salary $89,831 - $151,328 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Discipline of Marketing are inviting applications for an Associate Lecturer or Lecturer in Marketing.
Education-focused roles are a specialised category of academic engagement reserved for talented educators with a passion for, and demonstrated excellence in, pedagogical practice and design.
In this role you will be expected to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning practice, design and evaluation within the program and will be on a trajectory towards leadership in educational design and delivery.
The majority of your contribution will be within education (70%), with a proportion of workload (20%) available for research.
Your key responsibilities will be to :teaching in the discipline of marketing, including course coordination and supervision of Honours studentscontributing to the research strengths of the discipline, including collaborating on research grants and publishing in high quality academic journalsfostering interdisciplinary collaborations within the University and with external stakeholdersparticipation in academic administration and service activities.
About youa Ph D in marketing or relevant field (or near completion for Level A)demonstrated experience in, or strong potential to deliver high quality teaching and course development in one or more of the discipline's core domainsdemonstrated potential to publish in high quality academic journalsthe ability to work successfully in a team and a commitment to a collegial approacha commitment to engage with industry, community, and professional bodies.
