This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025 Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25kms south of Perth.

The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters.

The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8 and 9 cohorts.

Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The successful applicant should have an advanced knowledge of student wellbeing processes, the ability to manage students and promote positive relationships between students, staff, parents and the local community.

The successful applicant will ideally apply their professional knowledge and understanding of contemporary instructional strategies to promote teaching, learning and student wellbeing within the school community.

You should create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students (including students with disabilities) focussing on the development of the whole child.

The successful applicant should display a good understanding of the case management of students, knowledge of effective intervention, monitoring and reporting strategies, including attendance and the analysis of data.

You will also ideally possess the ability to provide direction and purpose to staff, build team capacity, capabilities and cohesion and promote an environment of positive academic learning experiences for all students.

You should have high standards of professionalism and be culturally responsive.
