THE ROLE The PR Account Director (Sydney or Melbourne) is a nine to 12 month full-time maternity cover and will be first and foremost responsible for driving earned media storytelling for Enthral's client partners.
You will lead the develop of earned media strategies through to overseeing and ensuring these strategies generate cut through across a broad range of clients, including those within the travel and leisure, fashion retail, fast food and FMCG categories.
Extensive publicity experience, a natural flair for editorial storytelling and a strong network of media contacts are the priority requirements of this role.
You will also need to be connected to culture and be able to confidently develop influencer and talent strategies that are on brief and relevant to our client's audiences.
You will be expected to manage the day-to-day client relationships.
Therefore, your operational skills from an agency perspective mixed with your external stakeholder management skills will be essential in delivering best in class client service - as you would expect of any award-winning agency.
Broad experience in social and digital content creative and execution is also preferable given we are an integrated agency, creating stories across both earned and owned channels.
Specific responsibilities include: Media relations and publicity strategy development: taking a client brief and interrogate it in order to develop a relevant earned media strategy; the ability to identify the relevant 'hook,' through to supporting the team in drafting compelling media materials, completing creative mailers, pitching to media, converting best in class PR coverage Influencer and talent management strategy: identify influencers and talent that meet our client partner briefs, procure, manage and ensure outputs are as expected Events and activations: lead and support the team with the end-to-end event and activation implementation including managing event suppliers and budgets, guest lists, event management / run of show Account management and reporting: day to day client and team leadership, overseeing the developing WIP documents, inputting into budget tracking reports, media monitoring analysis and reporting on results, including drafting measurement and evaluation documents WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 7+ years PR experience, preferably within an agency A strong journalist network of contacts A passion for the earned media and storytelling Experience working talent and influencer campaigns Experience in events and activations Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to client service excellence THE BENEFITS Birthday and ME Day (mental health day) in addition to your standard leave entitlements Participation in our annual Charity Day Epic Christmas Party (past parties have included cruises, glamping, camping and interstate trips) Monthly coffee card Working in a fun, down-to-earth team environment If this sounds like you, please email your CV and cover letter to Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries Advertising Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ENTHRAL.
